Archwest Capital has completed a $300 million rated RTL securitization, according to a report by HousingWire. The transaction adds to the flow of structured financing tied to real estate lending portfolios.
The securitization is backed by 218 loans and includes a $98.5 million accumulation account. The account forms part of the transaction's funding structure alongside the loan collateral.
The deal also has a two-year revolving structure. During that period, the vehicle can operate as a revolving transaction rather than solely as a static pool of loans, subject to its governing terms.
For real estate borrowers and capital-market participants, rated securitizations can provide lenders with another route to fund loan originations while transferring exposure from individual loans into a broader structured portfolio.
