Atlantic Avenue has moved above 1,000 HECM loans on a rolling 12-month total, reinforcing the concentration of activity among the sector's established broker and third-party origination channels.

The July endorsement rankings showed the same leading participants continuing to dominate the market, according to an analysis published by HousingWire. The result points to limited movement at the top of a market facing materially weaker overall volume.

HECM endorsements are currently on track for their weakest full year since 2003. That broader decline makes a rolling-volume milestone for a leading broker notable, while also underscoring the gap between the strongest platforms and the market's aggregate activity.

For lenders, brokers and investors connected to reverse-mortgage lending, the July figures indicate that scale and established distribution remain consequential even as the endorsement environment contracts. A rolling 12-month measure also offers a clearer view of sustained production than a single month's results.
