Champion Homes has acquired Timberline Homes in a transaction that reinforces the company’s increasing emphasis on direct-to-consumer sales.

The Timberline purchase is Champion’s third acquisition since 2025, according to HousingWire’s report on the transaction.

The deal adds to a strategy that places retail distribution more centrally within Champion’s growth plans. Direct sales can give a home producer closer control over the customer relationship and a more immediate view of buyer demand.

For developers, brokers and housing investors, the acquisition signals continued consolidation around sales channels as well as home production. Champion’s latest move suggests that retail access is becoming a more significant part of its expansion agenda.
