Hive MLS agents will soon be able to review buyer demand before a property reaches the market, under a rollout scheduled to begin in December.

The service will be made available to nearly 20,000 brokers and appraisers across six Southeastern states, according to a report by HousingWire.

Earlier signals for market participants

Pre-listing visibility into buyer demand could give brokers a clearer basis for discussions with sellers before a listing is launched. For appraisers, the information may offer an additional view of active interest in a local market.

For developers, investors and other property market participants, the rollout underscores the growing value of data that captures prospective buyer activity before it appears in conventional listing inventory.
