Nong Geng Ji, a Chinese restaurant brand focused on Hunan cuisine, has signed a 9,900-square-foot retail lease at 365 West 46th Street in Manhattan’s Hell’s Kitchen.
The deal positions the restaurant in a sizable ground-floor commercial space on West 46th Street, a corridor serving nearby office workers, theatergoers, residents and visitors to Midtown Manhattan.
The lease adds another dining operator to Hell’s Kitchen, where restaurant demand remains a central component of street-level retail activity. For property owners, larger restaurant commitments can provide a differentiated use for retail space that may not suit smaller-format tenants.
Details including lease duration, financial terms and the restaurant’s planned opening date were not disclosed in the report by Commercial Observer.
